Based on the factual scenario arising from the circumstance of each client, there may be uncertainty with respect to a legal outcome. That is often not so when it comes to the financial aspects of separation and divorce. Indeed, once disclosure is available, lawyers are sometimes able to see eye to eye on the calculations, particularly if a bit of compromise is available from the client.
After taking some time to understand your situation, we will explain what the law expects of you and the other party, and then compare it to the objectives you originally set out. It then falls to the client to decide whether the matter should be advanced in pursuit of an agreement, a course that will likely require compromise from both parties.
If agreement is unlikely we will advance the matter by way of a Court Application. We will discuss this in Step 3: Conclude your Case by Settlement or Litigation
